The Norman Creek Catchment Committee (N4C) values its customers’ privacy. Please be assured that none of your personal information is shared with any third party without your consent unless we are required to do so by law. We use Mailchimp to distribute our Newsletter and as such your email address is stored on their server within our account. You can choose at any time to unsubscribe from our Mailchimp mailing list or you may contact us to have your account permanently removed. We also collect your personal information to enable us to communicate with you and/or to notify you about your annual membership, events, and services, discounts and promotions. Payment Information
Please note that we do not collect your financial information, bank account details or retain credit card numbers used to purchase products or services as this information is collected by financial institutions that have their own privacy policy. We accept payments through Square Payments. https://squareup.com/au/en/ When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to Square, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information. Storage of your Personal Information
Our store uses Woo Commerce software that allows us to sell our memberships to you and suggest donating to our organisation. Your data is stored on our secure server. While you visit our site, we’ll track:
- Location, IP address and browser type: we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping
- Your Address: is used as part of the payment identity verification system
We’ll also use cookies to keep track of cart contents while you’re browsing our site. When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, email address, phone number, and credit card/payment details. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:
- Send you information about your membership and donation payments
- Respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints
- Process payments and prevent fraud
- Comply with any legal obligations we have, such as calculating taxes
- Improve our store offerings
- Send you information messages, if you choose to receive them
We generally store information about you for as long as we need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it, and we are not legally required to continue to keep it. For example, we will store order information for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes. This includes your name, email address and billing and shipping addresses.
