Buranda Bushcare Group

Buranda Bushcare Group

A new bushcare group has started on the banks of Norman Creek beside Buranda State School.  The group aims to improve habitat and stabilise creek banks, along with engaging school students in caring for the environment.

Locals and school students started work on 4th March, 2018, with help from N4C and wonderful support from Brisbane City Council's Habitat Brisbane program.  The group will be looking after the strip of land along Norman Creek near the Gladys street busway, behind the Stones Corner Library. They are planning to meet every first Sunday of each month and have started a Facebook page. Everyone is welcome!
